From near and far, WNE alumni gathered throughout the winter and spring for monthly midweek breaks. Organized by the WNE Alumni Association, WNE(C) Wednesdays have quickly become a favorite Golden Bear tradition as they offer alumni the chance to reconnect over drinks and hors d’oeuvres in a relaxed, welcoming setting.

In 2026, these popular meetups brought alumni together to cheer on the WNE women’s and men’s basketball and lacrosse teams, with spirited pregame and postgame events in between games. In March, engineering alumni came out to reconnect with familiar faculty, including Dr. Mike Rust and Dr. Rob Gettens, and to catch up with fellow graduates.

Together, these gatherings highlight the continued connection among WNE alumni, offering meaningful opportunities to stay engaged with the University community.
